Hinton Plays in 700th Career Game as Royals Win 8-3

Royals Manager Kevin Hinton marked his 700th career game in the IBL in fine fashion as the Royals came away with an 8-3 victory Tuesday night over the London Majors.

Hinton became only the second player in the history of the IBL to reach the 700 games played plateau trailing former Major Arden Eddie's 834 games played.

Sean Reilly tied for 3rd all time in the IBL's RBI mark with an RBI in the bottom of the 1st inning. Frankie Hare led off the Royals bottom of the 1st inning with a solo homer.

Ryan Hart picked the victory going five complete before handing it over to the bullpen.

The Royals travel to London Friday night game time is 7:30 pm

Saturday the Royals host Brantford at 2 pm and wrap up their IBL regular season Monday and Tuesday night with home games against Hamilton and Mississauga . Game times are 7:30 pm.
