Royals Manager and Designated Hittter Kevin Hinton missed a two run homer by about 6 feet and had to settle for a sacrifice fly to give him 485 career runs batted in Monday night tying the IBL's all time mark with Panthers' great Randy Curran.
The Royals won the game 7-4 over Hamilton with Mr. July Frankie Hare once again leading the way at the plate belting out his 8th homer of the season and bumping his batting average to .400 on the season with one game remaining against Mississauga this evening.
Greg Byron got the victory while Chris Romano notched the save. John Waltenbury also chipped in with two rbis on the night.
