Shawn Fuller
Fuller bought the Royals in 2018 from former owner Jim Rooney. Since then, the team has seen a resurgence on and off the field. Fuller is the founder of Canada Wide Sports.

Simon Parkin
Parkin is the Founder of The Talent Company, a quality focused HR solutions and services firm. For Simon, baseball is a family affair with his two sons also becoming Royals shareholders.

John McKay
McKay is the Founder of Trustmakers and Basepath Media, communications and engagement companies based in Ottawa and operating across Canada. He was born and raised in Owen Sound.

Andre Bisson
Bisson is the founder of Bisson Dentistry in Guelph. A passionate entrepreneur and community supporter, he brings expertise in business growth, leadership, and customer service to the Royals.

David Chong
Chong is a sports marketing executive with extensive experience in the development of strategic partnerships. He was previously the Managing Director at MKTG Canada and lives in North York.

Brian Griffin
Griffin is a Principal at Electric Sales Network, a sales company representing industry-leading manufactures and electrical lighting products. He currently lives in Mississauga.

Darcy Keleher
Keleher is an economic consultant working in private practice. He was born and raised in Guelph and currently lives in Milton.

Cooper Parkin
Parkin is currently completing his degree in Sport Management at the University of Guelph and serves in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserves.

Luke Parkin
Parkin is currently in his second year of study at Toronto Metropolitan University in Sport Media. He is also a coach and instructor with minor sports teams in Markham.
Front Office

Adam Fanjoy
Fanjoy, who joined the Royals in 2025, is the former president of Guelph Minor Baseball and was a longtime IBL umpire who has strong connections to Ontario Baseball and Guelph Baseball. Fanjoy oversees the Royals business operations.

Dino Roumel
Roumel returned to the Royals in 2022 after managing the team to a pair of championships in 2003 and 2004. The legendary IBL manager, who also won a championship as the manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2007, is a former coach with the Ontario Blue Jays and was named IBL Manager of the Year in 2024.

Ryan Eakin
Eakin enters his fourth season with the Royals in 2026 after spending his first ten seasons in the CBL between the Barrie Baycats and Toronto Maple Leafs organizations. A six-time champion in Barrie, Ryan assists general manager Adam Fanjoy with business operations and field manager Dino Roumel with baseball operations, most notably bringing in 2025 All-Star Edgar Garcia, as well as the likes of newcomers Liam Watt, Kevin Escorica, Antony Gilbert, Ryan Dos Santos, and Victor Mascai.

Eli Pearl
Pearl steps into a new role as a Senior Advisor for the Royals, transitioning into the role after previously contributing to game day operations at the park. A Sport Media student at Toronto Metropolitan University, Eli brings experience in live event execution, content creation, and fan engagement. While he will no longer be present at the park in the same capacity, he remains committed to supporting the organization behind the scenes and is excited to help the Royals grow through this new role.
Baseball Operations

Donny Fell
Fell joined the Royals in 2025 after managing the Brantford Red Sox in 2024. Prior to his time in the IBL, Fell was a coach for the Ontario Blue Jays, where he built relationships with many of the Royals' core players.

Paul Ante
Ante, a Guelph Sports Hall of Famer, is the longest-serving coach in the IBL.

Sean Travers
Travers, who joined the Royals in 2022, has a long and decorated career in baseball. A former IBL champion with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Travers is the founder of the Mississauga North Baseball High-Performance Program, where he provides the Royals with up-and-coming players. A former Director of Player Development for the Ontario Blue Jays, Travers has worked with over 50 players that have gone on to be drafted by MLB teams, including the likes of Dalton Pompey, who he brought to Guelph in 2022.

Jared Kennedy
Kennedy, who pitched for the Royals in 2023, joined the Royals as the team's pitching coach in 2024. The former D1 pitcher is currently the pitching coordinator for the Ontario Blue Jays.

Liam Devine
Devine, the grandnephew of Royals coach Paul Ante, joins the Royals in 2026 after a successful college career at St. Bonaventure. The Guelph native is also the pitching coach for the Guelph Gryphons.

Chris Lazar

Christian Meagher-Sturgeon
Meagher-Sturgeon, a second-year Sport Management student at Brock University, enters his first year with the Royals. He currently works for Brock Baseball as the Head of Analytics, where he modernized the team’s analytics. Originally from Moncton, NB, Christian previously worked with the Moncton Mets, providing the first analytics in franchise history. In 2026, he will oversee all analytics operations for the Royals.

Adam Foster
Adam is a 3rd year Data Science and Sports Administration Student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Adam joins the Royals as a Baseball Research Analyst for the 2026 season. Through his involvement with the UNC baseball analytics team, he has gained experience working with baseball data to support player evaluation, performance analysis, and decision making. Adam is committed to using data to find insights that contribute to player and team success. He looks forward to helping the Royals succeed throughout the 2026 season.

Marc-Anthony Armenio
in his final year of the Commerce-Sport and Event Management program in the Lang School of Business at the University of Guelph, Marc-Anthony is excited to join the Guelph Royals for the 2026 Season. Passionate about all sports, Marc has been working for the Guelph Gryphons statistics team over the 2025-2026 season and believes strongly in the power of data analytics to provide valuable insights and to leverage player development and team success.

Sean Guglietti
Guglietti, a Physics graduate from Wilfrid Laurier and Master’s student in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, is set to join the Royals’ analytics department for the 2026 season. Combining a passion for the game with an analytical mindset, Sean’s aim is to leverage his quantitative background to support the team on the field by bringing valuable insights to the players and helping drive data-informed decision-making.

Colin Shier
A second-year computer science student at the University of Guelph, Colin joins the Royals as a baseball Research Analyst for the 2026 season. A former OUA baseball player who competed two years at York University, he brings a player's perspective to his work in analytics. With a passion for sports and data, he has spent the past year building analytical tools that blend statistics and technology to uncover meaningful insights. Colin is thrilled to bring his skills to the Royals and help the Royals make a deep run in 2026.

Davis Nickel
Nickel is a second year Statistics and Economics student at McGill University and a current member of the McGill Baseball team. He is excited to apply both his academic background and playing experience to support player development through data driven decision making. In 2026, he looks forward to learning and contributing to the club’s growing analytics department.

Spencer MacInnis
MacInnis is a rising third-year student at Johns Hopkins University majoring in Economics with a minor in Accounting and Financial Management. He spent two years at the University of Richmond as a member of the baseball team before transferring and is excited to apply his knowledge of baseball to the Royals Analytics Team in 2026.

David Chen
David is a 4th year student at the University of Waterloo Majoring in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Statistics. He is excited to join the Guelph Royals Analytics Team for the 2026 Season. Passionate about the intersection between sports and mathematics, David is the author of a sports analytics blog page where he posts thoughts and insights on Baseball, Basketball and much more. He is eager to get involved in sports analytics on a team-level and use his quantitative skills to contribute to the organization and help the Guelph Royals win baseball games.

Peter Keedwell

Aidan Sinclair
Sinclair is a second-year sport management student at Brock University and is excited to join the Guelph Royals as a Baseball Research Analyst for the 2026 season. A former U22 junior player and current assistant pitching coach for multiple youth rep clubs, he brings both player and coaching perspectives to the table, to pair with his analytical skills. Aidan has a great passion for the game of baseball and is committed to learning and continuing the development of the Royals’ analytics department.

Jonah Neumann
Jonah recently completed his second year in the Sport & Event Management program at the University of Guelph, with minors in Business Data Analytics and Marketing. He previously served as the Gameday Manager of Statistics for Gryphon Athletics, where he oversaw live stats for varsity sports and led a team of student employees. Jonah is excited to help develop stats-based reports that support player development and drive the Royals' success in 2026.

Scott Young
Young, a second-year Sport Management student at Humber Polytechnic, is entering his first year with the Royals. He currently works for Northscore Media as a Statistical Researcher, and is the Team Manager for Humber's Varsity Baseball team during the fall OCAA season. Originally from Petawawa, ON, Scott previously built Province Pride, an end-to-end data research project mapping CHL talent production across Canada. In 2026, he will work alongside the analytics team in support of on-field decision making in hopes of a deep postseason run.

Lacey Scott
A Certified Athletic Therapist, Lacey started with the Royals as a student in 2005, making her the longest-serving Athletic Therapist in the league. She has worked numerous sports and activities, including the Pan-Am Games in Toronto and the Invictus Games in Toronto. Lacey owns and operates All Laced Up, an athletic therapy massage and fitness centre, treating individuals from recreational athletes to elite.

Kassandra Young
Kassandra is entering her second season as Marketing Director for the Guelph Royals. With a lifelong passion for sports and a professional background in marketing and communications, she is dedicated to strengthening community connections and showcasing everything there is to know about Royals baseball. Kassandra is focused on creating engaging experiences for fans, highlighting the team’s stories, and continuing to grow the Royals brand both on and off the field.

Lawrence, a Brock University graduate in Sport Management, is entering his second year with the Royals. He brings experience from the Welland Jackfish and Toronto Blue Jays and is excited to contribute to the Royals success in 2026.

Julia Vigna
Vigna, the In-Game Host for the Royals, also serves as the In-Arena Host for the Guelph Storm, bringing experience in live sports entertainment and fan engagement. As a Brock University Sport Management graduate, Julia is passionate about sports media and creating engaging, memorable game day experiences for fans.

David Kataja
David is a passionate sports journalist with experience in broadcasting, writing, and live commentary. He has covered a wide range of sports, including baseball, hockey, and football, providing in-depth analysis and engaging storytelling. With a background in radio and digital media, he brings a strong knowledge of the game and a talent for connecting fans with insightful coverage.

Zack Benoit
Benoit has been a broadcaster for five years, starting with Humber College in 2021. From there, he became the colour analyst for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the CBL in 2023, where he worked for three seasons before joining the Royals in 2026.

His biggest milestones include calling the OUA Basketball and Volleyball National Championships, as well as Humber's Softball Provincial Gold Medal in 2025.

Pare, who is a reporter for GuelphToday, is also the play-by-play broadcaster for the Kitchener Panthers.

Max Purdon

Aaron Alava
Aaron is a Sport Media student at Toronto Metropolitan University, joining the Guelph Royals in a graphic design role. He is pursuing sports media with the goal of working in creative content and design, and has gained experience producing sports-focused digital work along the way. Aaron is excited to bring his creativity to the Royals this season.

A staple in the Guelph sports scene, Fitzgerald also photographs Guelph Storm and the University of Guelph Gryphons home games.
