Garton Among Notable Royals Signings Ahead of Opening Day

GUELPH - The Guelph Royals Baseball Club is excited to announce today a series of signings.

The team announces the re-signings of reliever Ben Reid, catcher Brendan Keys, infielder Josh Garton, and outfielder Jeff MacLeod.

The team also announces the signings of pitchers Yuki Narita, Yomar Alexander Flande Concepcion, Jorge De La Cruz Paez, catcher Evan Ashe, and first basemen Niko Kekatos and Mike Cecchetto. 

Narita pitched for Subaru Motors in Japan Company's League in 2022, while Concepcion returns to the team after a stint in Taiwan. 

Paez returns to the team after spending the 2019 season as an import for the Royals, while Ashe joins Guelph from Southwest Tennessee CC.

Kekatos signs after a successful stint in the Western Canadian Baseball League in 2022, while Cecchetto joins the Royals after spending time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Hamilton Cardinals, and Barrie Baycats throughout his IBL career.
