Garton Wins Home Run Derby

Josh Garton has won the Home Run Derby hosted by the Guelph Royals. The format of the event pitted four Royals players against four strong hitters from other teams in the IBL. 

In the final round, Garton edged out Cleveland Brownlee, a fan favourite power hitter from the London Majors. The other Guelph representatives in the derby were Sean Reilly, Justin Interisano and Jeff MacLeod. Team IBL also featured Marcus Knecht, Johnathan Solazzo and Justin Gideon.
