Jackfish Edge Royals Again 3-2

Matt Schmidt and Caleb Feuerstake each had two hits and an RBI for the Jackfish (8-7). Brendon Dadson drove in the other run. Bryce O'Farrell went 3-for-4 with a run.

Rich Corrente (1-0) went seven innings for the win. He surrendered two runs (one earned) on seven hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Casey Bouillere-Howard recorded the final six outs for his third save. The right-hander from Brantford gave up two hits with a walk and strikeout.

Sean Reilly went 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Royals (7-8). Josh Garton doubled twice, and Ethan Mohan had a pair of singles.

Yomar Concepcion (1-2) took the loss, giving up three runs on six hits over seven innings. He walked two and struck out seven.
