GUELPH - The Guelph Royals Baseball Club is excited to announce the re-signing of 2024 All-Star JD Williams.

Williams, 27, will enter his fourth season with the Royals in May.

In his first three seasons with the team, the outfielder has hit a lifetime .301 with 12 home runs and 44 stolen bases.

His best year came a season ago when he hit six home runs to go along with his .327 batting average.

The former Cincinnati Reds farmhand said he is itching to get back onto the field this spring.

"I'm so excited to be back in Guelph. We have the best fans in the league and I can't wait to get back on the field and represent the Royal City."

Royals manager Dino Roumel said he is excited to see JD build off his All-Star campaign from a season ago.

"I am fired up about having JD back in Guelph again this season. I can't wait to see how he builds off a great 2024 season."
